Nutmeg, owned, trained and handled by Maxine Brinker of llinois, continue to rack up Double Qs in Excellent Agility. Maxine writes:
"Had a great weekend. Took a 1st in Standard on Saturday. Nutmeg got distracted in the weave poles in Jumpers but had a great run. The second day she got a Double Q, took first in Standard again. We didn't stay to get the ribbon in Jumpers so I don't know if she placed or not but she got the Double Q so I don't care! She ran real good, loves running on dirt. The weather was Hot!"
Indeed, one event promoter had proclaimed, "Looks like it's gonna be a hot one, boys and girls, so pack accordingly." The Spice Team were up to the challenge! These were all-breed AKC agility trials hosted by the American Spaniel Club in Richmond, Virginia.
